Get to Know Your Team:

UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities:

Serves as the executive-level administrative assistant, with an emphasis on executive scheduling, time management and overall coordination of the administration office.
Assists with the preparation for the execution of board meetings throughout the system.
Assists the CEO with special or ongoing projects involving corporate, industry, community and government relations.
Serves as a liaison between the CEO and additional members of administration, including hospital administrators and corporate directors.
Facilitates the flow of documents and telephone messages into the CEO office and secures timely authority/signatures as needed.
Performs related accountabilities as required or directed.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 1-5 years of administrative experience in a corporate setting required, preferably within a healthcare or other not-for-profit environment.
Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills

Preferred Job Requirements:

Additional training and continuing education in healthcare administration
