Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing Occupational Therapy services to a diverse school-aged population in a specialized educational setting. This contract opportunity supports students in the Low Incidence Program, including those in autistic support, life skills, and multiple disabilities classrooms. Located at the Marple Education Center, you’ll be working with children and young adults from kindergarten through age 22, collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff.

Your role will be pivotal in empowering students with varied needs to thrive academically and independently through targeted interventions and support.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania
• Previous experience working with school-aged children in special education (autistic support, life skills, multiple disabilities preferred)
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain thorough documentation
• Adept at collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, and educators
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and developmentally appropriate strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to students within the Low Incidence Program
• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized interventions
• Create, implement, and track progress on IEP goals
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and meet federal, state, and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school staff and families
• Deliver consultative support for classroom adaptations and strategies
