Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Whitestown, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain awareness of security-related activity. Your visible presence and professional communication will help to deter incidents while supporting smooth operations for employees, drivers, and guests. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas. Observe incoming and outgoing truck, trailer, and pedestrian activity, report irregularities, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
