As an Access Control Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. You will support a secure environment through professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report security-related concerns. Assist with maintaining a professional lobby and entry environment while supporting authorized access for employees, contractors, deliveries, and guests. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
