As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will use X-ray screening equipment to inspect items, monitor assigned areas, and help identify potential security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and support smooth facility operations. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with established access-control and prohibited-item procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and report access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including loading docks, trailer yards, business areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
