Senior Strategist, Business Solutions

Horizon Next is an innovative marketing organization focused on people, data and media. Responsibilities Assist in the development of strategic media plans (40%). Analyze consumer research and competitive intelligence findings (40%). Collaborate on the development of POVs for new media opportunities (40%). Partner with junior and senior team members to generate presentation decks, prepare final drafts, and present to clients (40%). Strengthen understanding of media strategy, actively participate in internal training and development (40%). Manipulate and analyze large datasets, including TV attribution models, and create insights and reporting for traditional channels (40%). Build and strengthen relationships with core clients and industry partners and serve as a Horizon Next contact (20%). Own and ensure the accuracy of billing, budgets, and flowcharts (20%). Manage day‑to‑day team projects, proof junior team member work, and manage timelines and deliverables for internal and cross‑functional teams (20%). Oversee junior team member engagement and interactions with other Horizon Next departments, guide growth within Horizon Next and the industry, contribute to performance reviews, and assist in the interview process for Assistant/Strategist roles (20%). A supporter of and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion. Preferred Skills & Experience 1.5+ years of previous media planning experience. Understanding of advanced analytics and performance media. Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts. Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint and able to discuss their application to media planning. Robust proficiency in basic functions within media planning systems and tools. Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and sell ideas both internally and to clients.
