Business Analyst

Purple DriveWe are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Analyst to join our team in the Dallas/Plano area. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring business objectives are clearly understood and translated into functional solutions. The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of business processes and technology integration.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business users, product owners, and technical teams to elicit and define business requirements.Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.Analyze existing systems, workflows, and data to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.Support the design and implementation of new business solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Develop and maintain process documentation, use cases, user stories, and data flow diagrams.Conduct gap analysis and propose system enhancements or process optimizations.Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions with cross-functional teams.Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), test case preparation, and validation of system deliverables.Partner with project managers to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and business goals are met.Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, banking, finance, or enterprise systems.Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and business process modeling.Experience in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and SQL for data analysis.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or technology consulting domains is a plus.Preferred SkillsExperience with API integrations, data mapping, and reporting tools.Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics platforms.Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure).CBAP or PMI-PBA certification preferred.
