Title: Payroll Manager

Salary: $120,000-$140,000 + Full Benefits (100% employer-paid medical premiums)

Location: Greater Boston Area (Fully Onsite)

Must Haves:

5+ years of hands-on, in-house payroll processing experience with full ownership of payroll
Extensive union payroll experience, including collective bargaining agreements, wage classifications, fringes, deductions, and certified payroll
Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, garnishments, overtime, and compliance
Experience with payroll systems, timekeeping platforms, and advanced Excel
Detail-oriented professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys being the payroll subject matter expert

Responsibilities:

Process end-to-end payroll for a mixed workforce, including union employees
Administer collective bargaining agreements, certified payroll, wage schedules, fringes, and deductions
Ensure accurate payroll processing, tax filings, reconciliations, year-end reporting, and audits
Partner with Accounting and Finance on reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
Serve as the primary internal payroll expert and identify opportunities for process improvements
