Sales Engineer

Sales EngineerThe Sales Engineer is responsible for all aspects of supporting the design and pricing associated with sales of EyeQ's Commercial Real Estate Virtual Guarding product direct to the end user. Accurately estimating correct material and labor costs associated with each installation project, design and application is the primary responsibility of this position. The role requires close collaboration with the EyeQ sales teams and executive sponsors of the CRE business line. In field site walks are expected to be a necessary part of this role.ResponsibilitiesEnsure correct labor, time and materials requirements for all assigned projectsIncrease project profitability through comprehensive cost estimatingDevelopment of an efficient cost estimation framework and process for quoting CRE opportunitiesPrepare estimates and bid proposalsUnderstand unique requirements for CRE specific vertical applications: Office tower, shopping center, industrial park, multi-family/residential buildingsEnsure mission (services provided to the client) is clearly understood in collaboration with sales personnelManaging sales documentation flow related to sales estimation and survey forms, pricing, site maps and layoutsCreate and present reports to upper managementBuild and maintain positive relationships with project management, installation and services teamsRead and interpret customer drawingsProvide ongoing training & education to Sales team, client's and subcontractors as neededAny other duties as assignedRequirementsPhysical RestrictionsMust be able to travel and walk sitesRequired Qualities & SkillsetMinimum of 1+ years project management or sales estimation experienceMinimum of 2+ years security industry field technician experienceKnowledge of Security Products and Services, specifically video surveillance design/applicationProficient in office suiteHigh school diploma or equivalentAvailable in-office in Dallas, TXAble to travel to sites as needed in the USAuthorized to work in the USProven excellent communication skills to all stakeholders, including internal owners and external clients, virtually, on the phone and in personTeam-oriented with a passion for taking care of our customersThrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
