About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, International Strategic Partnerships to serve as a revenue catalyst and drive the organization's international growth agenda. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing high-impact strategic partnerships, with a focus on expanding relationships at the CMO, platform, and publisher levels. This role requires a leader who can unlock new licensing, mandate, and service opportunities in unlicensed and under-licensed territories, and who is adept at building rigorous, data-driven business cases to support these initiatives. The VP will also play a key leadership role in the success of international partnerships, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and delivering against shared objectives. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in driving international commercial growth within the music industry, with a strong preference for those who have a background in performing rights organizations or adjacent sectors. The role demands a deep understanding of music copyright, commercial mechanics of licensing, and the ability to translate complex concepts for various stakeholders. Strategic partnership origination, enterprise relationship management, and a proven track record of negotiating and scaling partnerships are essential. The ideal candidate will have an established network in the global music ecosystem, particularly in the MENA/UAE region, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, and a strategic, structured approach to problem-solving are also required.
