Role Description:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is either a part-time or full-time, on-site role based in Cypress, CA, focused on driving new business opportunities and nurturing relationships in target markets. This role is perfect for a recent grad or a student looking for experience in sales, private credit markets, and corporate lending/financing.

In this role, the BDR will identify and qualify prospects, conduct outbound calls and emails, and respond to inbound inquiries from business owners, equipment vendors, and referral partners. The representative will consult with prospects to understand their equipment financing needs, present tailored solutions, and coordinate closely with internal credit and operations teams to move deals through the pipeline. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a consistent activity cadence, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, preparing proposals, and following up to ensure a high-conversion sales process. The role also includes collaborating with leadership and directly providing one-on-one training and mentoring.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience in prospecting, qualifying, and converting new opportunities.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Sales skills, including clear verbal and written communication, consultative selling, and relationship-building abilities.
• Candidates should possess Business Development skills, with a track record of growing accounts, developing partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities.
• Ability to work on-site in Cypress, CA, manage multiple deals simultaneously, and maintain organized, accurate documentation in CRM tools.
• Demonstrated resilience, integrity, and a commitment to transparent, trustworthy dealings with customers and partners.
