Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg, travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date: 09/20/2026. Contract length: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,664 - $1,703 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to general medical and surgical patients on an admission unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with an emphasis on admission and rapid turnover
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions, ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in patient condition, and collaborate with the health care team to coordinate care
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members; support patient and family education
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to policy and regulatory standards on a fast-paced unit with a 5-6:1 patient ratio

Requirements
- Active RN license and Nursys license verification
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience on an admission/rapid turnover unit
- Ability to work day shifts on a 12-hour schedule and contribute to a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse teams
- Work history with no gaps greater than 60 days; include skills checklist, references, and certification card as part of the applicant profile
- Candidates must be willing to travel for a 16-week assignment
