Preservation Architect

Overview A reputable architecture firm in the US is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to strict preservation guidelines and regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration plans Develop detailed preservation plans that meet local state and federal guidelines Collaborate with project teams to ensure preservation plans are carried out effectively Oversee construction work to ensure compliance with preservation guidelines Research and recommend appropriate materials and techniques for restoration projects Maintain accurate documentation of all preservation work Requirements Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation projects Strong understanding of local state and federal preservation regulations Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other architectural software Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Salary The salary for this position is $1,300 per month. Location This is a contract job located in the US. Candidates must have their own valid visa or be eligible to work in the US.
