Litigation Attorney - Insurance Defense

SUMMARY:
Our client, a trial-focused insurance defense firm, is seeking Litigation Litigation Attorney - Insurance Defense RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including discovery, motions, mediations, and trial preparation - Take and defend fact witness and expert depositions - Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and colleagues - Develop and execute case strategy in collaboration with the team - Maintain ownership and accountability for assigned cases - Participate in settlement conferences and trial proceedings QUALIFICATIONS: - Active Texas Bar license (or pending admission) in good standing - 4+ years of civil litigation experience - Experience in insurance defense, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, or personal injury - Strong written and oral advocacy skills - Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively - Positive, solution-oriented, and professional mindset BENEFITS: - Competitive salary with merit-based annual bonus opportunity - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) retirement plan - Paid time off and holidays - Training, mentorship, and trial experience ADDITIONAL NOTES - Ideal candidates are committed to building long-term client relationships - Firm culture values integrity, preparation, accountability, professionalism, and optimism - Attorneys are expected to commit to ~2,000 billable hours annually with emphasis on quality and efficiencyVacancy posted 4 days ago
