Work Environment

As a full-time position, you will typically work Monday to Friday, with a standard 40-hour workweek. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations for patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Dynamically treating a diverse array of patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies to foster recovery and improvements in function.
• Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Educating and training patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols and strategies for ongoing wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clients will range in age and physical capabilities, emphasizing the need for an adaptable approach to care that sensitively addresses diverse needs. You will work closely with individuals requiring interventions for acute injuries, chronic pain management, post-operative recovery, and long-term rehabilitation providing therapeutic support that enhances mobility and independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficient word processing and computer capability.
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with patients, fostering trust and motivation towards achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in any specialty area of physical therapy will be highly regarded. Experience in home care settings and familiarity with evidence-based approaches to therapy will also add value to your application.

Compensation and Benefits
