Remote Help Desk Specialist

The Remote Help Desk Specialist provides first-level technical assistance for routine computer, software, access, and service desk requests. This entry-level, full-time remote position is designed for someone who is comfortable learning technology systems, troubleshooting common issues, and communicating solutions clearly. Respond to incoming help desk and technical support requests. Gather information about user technology issues. Create and update support tickets. Provide first-level assistance with routine technical problems. Guide users through established troubleshooting steps. Assist with common account and access requests. Document troubleshooting actions and outcomes. Escalate technical issues outside first-level procedures. Track open tickets and required follow-up. Communicate technical information in clear, user-friendly language. Follow established security and support procedures. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Basic familiarity with computers and common software. Strong communication and listening skills. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail.
