Manage the design, permitting, and construction of the project through the use of established processes, experience, and expertise.Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projectsPartners closely with Client's Technical Services Team and stakeholders to optimize process, procedure and project deliveryDevelops ROM level project estimates for funding approval based on project program documentsPrepares, develops and maintains master project schedules and budgetsEnsure the project plan, scope, work structure, schedule, and budget are maintained by all the involved parties (e.g. consultants, engineers, architects, vendors, stakeholders, etc.)Selects and manages project team and resources including subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and partners through bidding and vendor selection processRegularly monitor the progress of all projects by completing site visits, tracking procurement activities and reviewing contractor performanceConducts project meetings (including taking and sharing minutes), tracks deliverables assigned in meetings, coordinates project updates/reports and drawing reviews at conceptual, schematic, design development and construction phases of projectReviews and approves requisitions, change orders and invoices associated with the projectOversees document preparation and completion (e.g. contracts, close-outs, punch lists, etc.)Plays a critical leadership, coordination, and communication role with all stakeholdersAdheres to Client and JLL policies and procedures, obtains necessary approvals, understands local permitting processes and works with local building officials to obtain permits, approvals and final acceptanceConduct value engineering based on Basis of Design, site conditions and solid understanding of industry benchmarkingContinually seek and capitalize upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationshipsRecommends and assists with internal program and process improvementsExtensive experience in successfully delivering large scale complex projectsManages programs/projects that have higher visibility to the ClientCreate and evaluate project reporting; provide timely and accurate project status reporting to internal and external partiesMonitor and develop strategies to mitigate project risksManage day-to-day Client interaction, relationship and expectationsProven ability to lead, influence and work well at all levels of the organization and in a cross functional team environmentParticipate in the recruiting strategies, interview new hire candidates and make hiring decisionsProvides input for account reporting and KPI tracking as neededLead a project team to investigate, develop, and implement energy and carbon related projects (such as solar PV, energy storage, LED lighting retrofits, HVAC, BMS, water fixture and meter retrofits, and electrification)Understand the system architecture of HVAC and Renewable Systems in order to identify project requirements (structural, electrical, mechanical requirements)Responsible for managing and mentoring Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. Provide guidance, resolve conflicts, and ensure effective collaboration among team members.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline or combination of relevant education, training and experience deemed equivalent7+ years of project or construction management experience5+ years experience with managing technical infrastructure with respect to MEPSF systems preferredUnderstand the system architecture of HVAC and Renewable Systems in order to identify project requirements (structural, electrical, mechanical requirements)Certification in PE, AIA, LEED, or CMAA considered an assetPMP certification preferredSolid understanding of the construction industry, terminology, codes, documentation, and design disciplinesDemonstrated project management skills and experience to manage complex projects under pressure to meet schedule, budget and quality requirementsStrong proficiency with computer applications including Google SuiteProficiency with project management tools such as Clarizen and ProcoreWilling/able to travelOn-site client-facing position, which requires the ability to work from the office or site locationStrong organization with proven leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to perform duties under deadline pressure in a fast-paced, high volume environmentDetail oriented and thoroughProven record of providing excellent internal and external customer serviceExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skillsPhysical RequirementsInvolves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a dayInvolves climbing roof ladders periodicallyMay involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scannerRegularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and typeAbility to speak clearly so others can understand youAbility to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writingAbility to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understandRegularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displaysThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
