Production Worker - Rough Electrician

Summary Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, performing quality work at a fast‑moving and consistent manner. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned Keeps area neat and clean Reads and uses a tape measure Reads blueprints and orders Communicates well with coworkers Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools Other duties may be assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent OR at least six months of related experience/training Ability to read a tape measure Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs. Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired but not required. Education And/or Experience One‑year certificate from college or technical school; or 6–12 months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination. Mandatory Competencies Strong work ethic Willingness to arrive on time, per scheduled shift—daily Ability to work quickly and methodically Understanding and following safety procedures Good teamwork skills Alignment with Champion Operating Principles Work Schedule The typical schedule is 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, Monday‑Friday. Schedule may vary depending on production needs and overtime, though kept to a minimum. Occasional scheduling changes may be required. Physical Demands The employee is required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally more than 100 pounds. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
