Production Worker - Rough Plumber

Position Overview Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team and perform quality work at a fast‑moving and consistent manner. Job Title Rough Plumber Location Strattanville, PA FLSA Status Non‑exempt Benefits 401k Plan with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Medical Rx Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Work Schedule The typical schedule for this position is 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, Monday‑Friday. Schedule may vary depending on production needs and overtime, though kept to a minimum, occasional scheduling changes may be required. Education and/or Experience One‑year certificate from college or technical school; or 6‑12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent OR at least six months of related experience/training Ability to read a tape measure Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs. Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired but not required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned Keeps area neat and clean Reads and uses a tape measure Reads blueprints and orders Communicates well with coworkers Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools Other duties may be assigned. Competencies Must have a strong work ethic Must be willing to arrive on time, per scheduled shift – daily Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically Must understand and follow safety procedures Must have good teamwork skills Must live by the Champion Operating Principles Physical Demands Requires standing, using hands and fingers to grip and feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally moving more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
