CNC Operator - 2nd Shift Exceed your potential with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Operator 2nd Shift in Chatsworth, CA As a CNC Operator, you will: Operate CNC milling equipment to manufacture precision metal components. Perform machine setup, testing, and production runs while maintaining quality standards. Use machinist hand tools, gauges, and measuring instruments to verify part accuracy. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, including metric and standard measurements. Troubleshoot machining issues and assist with continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain safe and efficient machine operation while meeting production requirements. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: 25+ years of CNC machine operating experience. Ability to set up and operate CNC mills. Experience using precision measuring tools and machinist instruments. Strong blueprint reading skills. Certification in Machine Shop Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or related machinist training. Previous mechanical assembly experience. Familiarity with precision metal part manufacturing processes.
