Position may be converted to permanent without further competition Work schedule Full-time Duties SummaryYou will serve as a FACILITIES SUSTAINMENT BRANCH HEAD in the Facilities Sustainment (FS) Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. A Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA) of 10.28% will be added to the stated salary.ResponsibilitiesYou will plan, schedule, assign work to be accomplished by individuals to meet operational demand.You will develop business plan which links strategic outcomes with budgets and key operational metrics.You will review work to confirm production and quality requirements are met.You will manage the Facilities Management and Sustainment Programs to provide products and services in support of its customers.Travel RequiredOccasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, design and maintenance of facilities (local building codes, safety standards; federal/state/local laws and regulations governing system operations); 2) Manage and coordinate maintenance strategies and operations to ensure that resources are allocated and projected appropriately; 3) Applying leadership concepts, philosophies, and practices to inspire, motivate, and guide others towards goal accomplishment; 4) Prepare, justify and administer the program budget with an understanding of the organization's financial process; 5) Engaging with stakeholders and providing feedback in order to improve processes.
