Role Summary Senior Manager, KOL Strategy & Clinical Content – Ontada (a McKesson business). Lead the design, construction, and operation of a compliant Key Opinion Leader (KOL) speaker bureau for oncology education. Translate oncology literature into educational assets, provide clinical guidance for digital and EHR‑enabled initiatives, and build strong relationships with KOLs. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operationalize the KOL speaker bureau, including strategy, identification, segmentation, contracting, onboarding, training, governance, and continuous optimization. Identify, engage, and develop oncology KOLs across community and academic settings; maintain compliant relationships over time. Measure bureau performance, gather stakeholder feedback, and continuously improve speaker quality, program execution, and experience. Translate publications, congress data, and evolving standards of care into concise educational assets (podcast scripts, case studies, articles, blog posts, and presentations). Ensure all deliverables are clinically accurate, audience‑appropriate, and aligned with medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Provide clinical support and actionable feedback on EHR‑driven educational initiatives to ensure feasibility and alignment with objectives. Partner cross‑functionally with medical, marketing, product, compliance, legal, and field teams to plan and execute integrated oncology education strategies. Provide clinical context for digital initiatives related to biomarkers, adverse event/side‑effect management, treatment pathways, and point‑of‑care decision support. Minimum Requirements Degree in clinical background (RN, BSN, NP, or equivalent). 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory or management experience. 5+ years of experience in clinical education, medical communications, medical affairs, or a related field. Critical Skills Clinical expertise in oncology, preferably with community oncology experience. Demonstrated experience in KOL identification, management, and development, including contracting and speaker program support. Excellent scientific writing and synthesis skills; able to simplify complex clinical information for oncologist audiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience with advanced oncology modalities (e.g., CAR‑T, bispecific antibodies, apheresis, precision medicine). Experience supporting EHR‑integrated and/or digital oncology education initiatives. Success Metrics Growth, quality, and performance of the speaker bureau. Compliance All speaker bureau and educational activities must adhere to applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and industry codes, including scientific exchange, fair balance, approved messaging, transparency, documentation, and transfer‑of‑value reporting. Appropriate controls must prevent off‑label promotion and ensure required medical/legal/compliance reviews are completed and retained. Compensation Base Pay Range: $118,100 – $196,900.
