As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directional guidance, and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
