About the Position

Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, holiday rotation as applicable

Highlights:

• 36-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 35 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 caring for adults to geriatric populations
• Comprehensive case mix including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis and SBAR protocols
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Maximum 7 days of time off permitted per contract (blackout dates: April 4-12)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 4-5 patients
• Demonstrated competency managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration): milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin
• Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, feeding tube management, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, and post-cardiac procedures
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
