Make a difference in the lives of high school students by providing essential occupational therapy services in an educational setting. This contract opportunity is located near Shakopee, MN, and runs from September 8, 2026, to June 8, 2027. The role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team of educators and help young people achieve their fullest potential.
Successful candidates will have:
- An active Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota
- Previous experience supporting high school students in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage and organize a diverse caseload
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintaining thorough documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Consulting with team members and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to high school-aged students during school hours
This position is structured as a 35-hour week, Monday through Friday, serving high school students. Caseload size and specific population details will be provided upon inquiry, allowing candidates to understand and prepare for the assignment’s unique attributes.
Compensation for this opportunity ranges from $45 to $50 per hour, reflecting both your experience and the commitment to excellence.
