Senior Project Manager (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-visibility internal financial systems projects across a complex, global environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned PM who can quickly take ownership, manage project plans and stakeholders, communicate with executive-level audiences, and drive delivery across business and technical teams. The right candidate will be proactive, polished, organized, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced setting.

Location: New York, NY 10017 – Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $60-70/hr W2 per hour

What You’ll Do:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for internal financial systems initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Build and manage project plans, timelines, resources, risks, budgets, deliverables, status reporting, and change control processes.
• Partner with C-level stakeholders, business workstream leads, BA/SMEs, developers, analysts, and global teams to keep project activities aligned.
• Facilitate project meetings, communicate progress, issues, and risks, and present updates clearly to senior leadership.
• Support Agile and Waterfall project environments, including tracking development, testing, and UAT activities through tools such as ADO and project planning platforms.

What Gets You the Job:

• Bachelor’s degree required, with 5–10 years of Project Management experience and at least 5 full project life cycles.
• Experience managing financial systems projects; Oracle EBS or SAP or similar tools experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong executive communication skills, including experience presenting to and engaging with C-level stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies, project planning tools, and tracking tools such as ADO or Planview.
• Ability to work independently, ramp up quickly, lead meetings confidently, and influence cross-functional teams in a dotted-line environment.
