Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date: ASAP or upon completion of onboarding

End Date/Duration: Full-time permanent position

Shift: Monday Friday, rotation through operating room, ICU, and clinic

Hours/Week: 40

Employment Type: Full-time

Licensure/Certifications: Colorado RN license, AANP/ANCC certification, BLS (AHA), DEA

Experience: Preferred minimum 2 years in cardiac or cardiovascular ICU/surgical care

Salary: Competitive annual salary between $100,588 and $143,769, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Assist in cardiac surgeries, including performing endoscopic vein harvesting and supporting surgeons
• Manage ICU, floor, and outpatient clinic patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in routine rounds and evaluations across multiple units
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Develop and implement tailored care plans and follow-up routines
• Prescribe medications and perform bedside procedures
• Document care accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Maintain ongoing professional education and adapt to organizational needs

What You Need

• Valid Colorado RN license
• Certification from AANP or ANCC
• BLS (AHA)
• DEA certification
• Minimum 2 years' experience in ICU or cardiac surgical care

• Prior experience assisting in cardiac surgeries
• Strong collaborative, problem-solving, and patient-focused skills
