Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to understand the client’s emotional, behavioral, and psychological state, documenting findings comprehensively for ongoing care.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, tailoring interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate dynamic therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, using evidence-based techniques that promote healing and behavioral changes.

• Monitor and track client progress throughout their treatment journey, making adjustments to plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, general practitioners, and social workers, to align intervention strategies and ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied clientele, including adult individuals, couples facing relational challenges, families in crisis, and diverse groups seeking communal healing. Our clients present with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns—ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex psychiatric disorders—making the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches imperative. Your expertise in recognizing and addressing both mental health disorders and co-occurring conditions like addiction will be critical in providing comprehensive and effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required; preference will be given for candidates with advancements in education.

• A current and valid license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) within the state of New York.
