Assembler IIThe Operations Manufacturing team in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota produces medical device products that support patient care around the world. This function is responsible for executing assembly and production processes while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.This position is located in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and follows an onsite work model 5 days a week.Multiple shifts are available:Monday-Friday1st Shift- 6:10am-2:10pm2nd Shift 2:10pm-10:10pm3rd Shift 10:10pm-6:10am (Sunday-Thursday)At Medtronic we bring bold ideas forward with seed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. We're working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.As an Assembler II, you will perform production assembly activities to support manufacturing operations and product quality objectives. This role works with manufacturing instructions, visual aids, process documentation, and various assembly tools to build, inspect, and verify products in accordance with established procedures and specifications.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly operations ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production tasks.Follow visual aids, process flows, diagrams, schematics, and written or verbal work instructions to complete assembly activities.Prepare products and assembly components using designated tools and equipment.Conduct in-process and final continuity checks to verify product conformance.Perform quality inspections in accordance with established specifications and manufacturing requirements.Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype or experimental assemblies as required.Accurately document work completed and follow applicable quality and operational procedures.Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards while working in a manufacturing environment that requires prolonged standing and walking.Required Qualifications1+ years of manufacturing, production assembly, supply chain, operations, or related experience gained through work experience and/or applicable training, education, or certification.No minimum education requirement.Basic knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operational procedures, systems, and tools.Experience using microscopes to perform inspection, assembly, or quality-related tasks.Demonstrated hand dexterity and fine motor skills required to perform detailed assembly work.Ability to read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, and process documentation with great attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsPrevious assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience working in medical device manufacturing.Strong mathematical skills for measurements and quality verification activities.Automotive manufacturing experience and flexibility to support multiple production areas as business needs require.The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PR) locations (USD):$40,800.00 - $61,200.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).The starting base rate of pay for this position and location is $21.50 per hour.
