Talent Acquisition Coordinator

The Position:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, will assist with finding, sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent that satisfy our organizational needs. Will be an active contributor to the entire recruitment life cycle.

This contract position works Monday through Friday, from 8am-5pm.


The compensation for this position is $25/hour. The position is temporary with an end date of August 6th (could be extended if business needs dictate it).

The position is mostly remote, with 1 or 2 days a week in the Franklin office.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling, and conducting interviews and managing the hiring paperwork.
  • Assists with implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Screens and selects qualified candidates for the interviewing phase; counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
  • Schedules interview between candidate and hiring manager; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants, as needed
  • Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful. Collects and files associated interviewing documentation.
  • Provides follow-up to candidates, including status updates via phone and/or email.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, start dates, makes offer, creates offer letter and other pertinent details.
  • Assists in checking candidates references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Track recruiting activities, providing candidate status, and updating weekly recruiting reports.
  • Utilize the HRIS platform to gather and analyze data
  • Participating in recruitment events, such as career fairs, preparing information packets, and gathering information from suitable candidates.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
  • Provides support to the HR Generalist(s) with the onboarding process as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, industrial relations, business administration or related field.
  • May substitute 8 years of directly related experience and PHR/SPHR Certification in lieu of degrees.
  • Experience in a professional office environment is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in HR/Recruiting function and/or Office Manager with basic understanding of recruiting and HR concepts, policies, and administrative procedures is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Application Software; HRIS systems knowledge preferred
  • Must demonstrate high level of interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work well under pressure and problem solve across a variety of business processes.
  • Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.
