DutiesManage the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program for the Organization.Emphasize the commitment to maintain a workplace environment that rejects sexual harassment and sexual assault and attitudes that promote such behaviors.Utilize the applicable data management system to report sexual assault and sexual harassment response data.Provide policy, guidance and other information for victims of sexual harassment and sexual assault, subordinate unit commanders, first responders, and those who seek to prevent or respond to sexual harassment/assault.Inspect subordinate units for SHARP program compliance and execution.Conduct analysis to identify program trends and provide recommendations to identify correlational relationships for future program direction.Conduct the Major Subordinate Command (MSC) Sexual Assault Review Board (SARB).Complete annual reports on Sexual Assault (SA), Sexual Harassment (SH), and retaliation.Submit and execute budget within prescribed Fiscal Year (FY) to ensure program operation, staffing, awareness activities, travel, and unit inspections are accomplished.Coordinate 24/7 SHARP response capabilities down to the Company level.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentAppointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle.May be subject to occasional On-Call.The selectee must successfully complete the 6-week SHARP Career Course within 6-months of employment. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating and providing input to the development of policies and objectives for programs such as equal opportunity and sexual assault prevention and response; inspecting programs for compliance and identifying issues for resolution; participating in program activities emphasizing the prevention of sexual assault and harassment; coordinating and executing sexual assault review boards; completing reports for public release; providing input to budget; preparing Memorandums of Agreement/Understanding with local hospitals; and conducting general briefings and presentations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
