Accounting Assistant

$48K A Japanese-affiliated automotive plastics and materials management company is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations in a global business environment. This role is responsible for accounts payable and receivable processing, ERP system data management, account reconciliations, and administrative support while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Accounting Operations Process Accounts Receivable (A/R) invoices and payment receipts in the ERP system Process Accounts Payable (A/P) invoices and payments for both product and non-product purchases Process credit memos, debit memos, rebates, commissions, and inventory adjustment requests Perform cash and subledger account reconciliations Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely data entry into the ERP system ERP & Data Management Enter and maintain accounting and operational data in the company's ERP system Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial and operational records Support accounting-related data management and reporting activities Administrative Support Assist with ISO internal management activities and other administrative projects as assigned Collaborate with team members to support daily accounting operations Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Full-time, On-site Working Location Indianapolis, IN Salary / Benefit $48,000 Benefits include: Medical Insurance (99% company-paid) Dental Insurance (99% company-paid) Vision Insurance (99% company-paid) Company-paid Life Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Performance-based Bonus Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Vacation Holidays Saturdays, Sundays, and Company Holidays Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience Basic accounting knowledge Experience using ERP systems, accounting software, or data entry systems Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work independently with strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent organizational and communication skills Experience in accounting or administrative support is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
