Payroll Coordinator
Seeking a detail-driven Payroll Coordinator to support full-cycle, multi-state payroll for a diverse workforce. This role requires strong payroll tax knowledge, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Location: Plano, TX
Pay: $27/HR
Responsibilities
- Process weekly/biweekly multi-state payroll
- Apply federal, state, and local tax rules
- Support union payroll and supplemental pay
- Reconcile payroll, taxes, and SOX-compliant files
- Process garnishments, W-2/W-2C corrections, and on-demand checks
- Submit 401(k) and HSA reporting
- Research and resolve payroll issues
- Maintain payroll records and support audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years multi-state payroll experience
- ADP Workforce Now (preferred)
- Strong Excel and accuracy skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Canadian payroll experience a plus
