Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients' daily lives.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, considering their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective therapeutic support.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care techniques to promote understanding and engagement in the healing process.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay informed about recent advancements in mood disorder research to enhance treatment strategies and client outcomes.

• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development workshops, and case consultations to foster personal growth and contribute to organizational excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. The therapist will also support marginalized groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, addressing their unique experiences and challenges with empathy and sensitivity.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, providing the foundational knowledge essential for effective practice.
