Industrial/Technical (Materials Handling) Business Development Manager Up to $135k base + car + tools of trade + super + commission Mix of warm + cold leads with existing clients + upsell potential Autonomy + strong technical support (engineering/ops backing) Our client is a national provider of bulk material handling solutions. We’re on the lookout for a BDM who can own and grow the business through a blend of relationship management + new business. You’ll work with a solid base of existing customers (lots of opportunity to upsell / increase share of wallet), while building new connections through targeted prospecting and industry networking. Currently heavily focussed on mining, we are also increasing our presence in agriculture and manufacturing. What you’ll be doing Prepare quotes / tenders / proposals and keep things moving Negotiate and close deals with a long-term partnership mindset, some very high value clients and deals Keep CRM, activity reporting and forecasting up to date What you’ll bring Proven BDM/sales experience in industrial / technical / engineered solutions (or similar) Consultative selling style — asks good questions, listens, and solves problems Confidence talking with a range of stakeholders and getting on site Driver’s licence + comfortable with local travel Organised, self-driven, and able to run a structured sales process end-to-end What’s in it for you Up to $135,000 base (experience dependent) Company vehicle + tools of trade Backing from a strong internal team (engineering/ops support) Autonomy to manage your territory and build something meaningful How to apply Hit Apply with your resume.
