Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment services to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life
- Document patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate resident care and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA certification through NBCOT
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice in New York
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with geriatric patient populations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
