About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Quality Assurance to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive quality vision and strategy. This senior executive will be responsible for setting the standard for engineering excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and building a world-class quality organization. The role involves close collaboration with product, engineering, and security leaders to ensure that quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle and that QA initiatives align with organizational goals, regulatory obligations, and customer expectations. The successful candidate will also be a thought leader in the QA and test engineering industry, representing the firm in various forums and partnerships. Candidates for the Vice President of Quality Assurance position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in software development, quality assurance, or technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior management or executive role. Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, as well as hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools, is essential. A strong background in testing enterprise SaaS applications, including nonfunctional testing disciplines, and experience with SOC 2 or similar compliance standards are also required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large, geographically distributed teams, including offshore engineering centers, and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Industry knowledge of life insurance and annuities is highly desirable.
