General Technical Manager to join its Centralized Identity & Access Management (CIAM) team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership experience within Customer Identity and Access Management , with hands-on knowledge of identity protocols, cybersecurity controls, authentication, and digital/online and mobile experiences.

\n

This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership, delivery management, planning, and coordination across CIAM initiatives while partnering with engineering, cybersecurity, product, and business teams.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for CIAM initiatives and programs .
\n
• Lead planning, execution, delivery, and continuous improvement of identity and access management solutions.
\n
• Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, product, and business stakeholders to define technical strategies and delivery plans.
\n
• Manage technical dependencies, risks, issues, schedules, and overall delivery.
\n
• Provide leadership around Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) capabilities.
\n
• Support identity architecture and authentication solutions using standards such as OIDC (OpenID Connect) .
\n
• Provide technical guidance related to Ping Identity technologies and platforms.
\n
• Ensure appropriate cybersecurity controls are implemented across online and mobile customer experiences.
\n
• Support authentication, multifactor authentication (MFA), and identity security initiatives.
\n
• Participate in risk assessments and security-control activities.
\n
• Work with risk and fraud/security technologies such as Outseer or comparable risk-assessment solutions.
\n
• Coordinate technical delivery across multiple teams and vendors.
\n
• Establish project plans, milestones, priorities, and delivery objectives.
\n
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
\n
• Communicate technical status, risks, dependencies, and progress to leadership and stakeholders.
\n
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, architecture, and compliance standards.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Proven experience in a Technical Manager, General Technical Manager, Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, Delivery Manager , or similar technical leadership role.
\n
• Strong experience with CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) .
\n
• Strong understanding of OIDC / OpenID Connect .
\n
• Experience with Ping Identity , including technologies such as PingFederate, PingAccess, or PingOne.
\n
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and security controls .
\n
• Experience supporting online/digital and mobile applications or customer experiences .
\n
• Strong knowledge of authentication and multifactor authentication (MFA) .
\n
• Experience with risk assessment and identity/security controls .
\n
• Experience with Outseer or comparable authentication, fraud-risk, or risk-assessment solutions.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in technical delivery management, planning, and execution .
\n
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively across technical, cybersecurity, product, and business teams.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, banking, credit unions, or other highly regulated environments .
\n
• Experience managing enterprise-scale identity transformation initiatives.
\n
• Knowledge of modern identity and authentication architectures.
\n
• Experience working with digital banking or customer-facing applications.
\n
• Experience managing multiple technical workstreams and cross-functional teams.
\n
