Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and treatment planning for clients based on individual needs.

• Provide ongoing therapeutic counseling using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans and crisis intervention strategies.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, engaging with state agencies and community partners to enhance resources available for clients.

• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure quality compliance in service delivery.

• Engage in professional development activities such as attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance your skills.

• Represent the agency at state-wide meetings and contribute to task forces or committees relevant to mental health initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMHC at Bay View Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals seeking emotional support, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and persons with developmental disabilities. You will utilize an empathetic and trauma-informed approach, recognizing each client’s unique experiences and needs, and providing tailored therapeutic interventions that align with their personal journeys to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• An independent LMHC license issued by the state board is mandatory.
