Job Overview Santa Fe College's Fine Arts department is hiring multiple educational aides. The Educational Aide will maintain a functional and efficient work environment and ensure compliance with SF and FERPA policies. Responsibilities Provide a professional, helpful, and welcoming atmosphere by greeting, responding to, and directing visitors in‑person and over the phone. Distribute mail and office supplies, and operate and maintain copier/printer. Accept, screen, and route telephone calls concerning activities and operations of the office, directing inquiries as appropriate and/or providing information. Provide administrative support to the faculty and other staff members. Strictly honor the privacy and security of student records and other sensitive information according to state, federal, and college regulations, policies and procedures. Comply with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines and laws/regulations governing public employees, including those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality. Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be a currently enrolled Santa Fe College student in good academic standing and taking six (6) or more credit hours. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA. A criminal background check will be conducted. General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Work successfully in a multicultural environment. Problem solving – identify issues, determine cause, develop creative solutions, and implement resolutions. Detail oriented – proven accuracy and attention to detail. Multi‑task – organize, coordinate, manage, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
