Minimum Education Requirements: * Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. * Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA). * Fellowship training in cardiology (may be preferred depending on the position). License & Certifications: * Board certification in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the AOA. * Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania Experience: * While specific requirements may vary, most locum cardiologist positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing cardiac care in a clinical setting.
