About This Role The RN PRN in the Cardiovascular Surgery Stepdown Unit provides specialized nursing care to post-open heart surgery patients and telemetry patients. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Highlights Pay: $43 - $43/hour Location: Cleveland, OH Facility: Cleveland Clinic Department/Unit: Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit Schedule: Per Diem, Variable shifts What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience 2+ years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants. Internal applicants with less than 2 years may be considered after orientation/90-day probationary period. Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
