Registered Nurse - Acute Telemetry - Full Time

Role Overview The Nurse provides independent, comprehensive patient care within a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation. They deliver routine and complex nursing interventions, develop long-term care plans, and manage clinical contingencies effectively. The role involves making appropriate assignments and delegating tasks to care team members to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, providing appropriate education and support. Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor for side effects, and evaluate treatment effectiveness. Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. Current BLS certification required.
