TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Lubbock, Texas, 79410!

PCU/Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 Charting system experience Description: 1st timers welcome. PCU/Tele RN position. Will float between units. Weekends are required. 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period. No block scheduling required. Expected patient ratios are 1:4. 48 hours approved for time off. Facility is a short-term acute care facility. Total staffed beds are 379. Level II trauma center. Department uniform consists of solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable attire. Daily census in the unit is approximately 27 patients. Unit has 29 beds. Interdisciplinary support available from various teams. Special procedures include comprehensive stroke care and epilepsy monitoring. Patients include neurosurgical patients and those recovering from TIA/Stroke. Fast-paced working environment. Cardiac telemetry drips administered on this neuro telemetry unit. Teamwork and collaboration emphasized with patients and families. No on-call required for this position. Required to manage various patient care protocols and procedures.
