We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support day-to-day payroll operations for a busy team in Norwood, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position is fully onsite and focuses on accurate payroll preparation in a manual processing environment, with a strong emphasis on data integrity and confidentiality. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with high volumes of timekeeping information, navigating Excel efficiently, and helping ensure employees are paid correctly and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Review paper timecards and supporting payroll documents for completeness and accuracy before processing
• Enter payroll and timekeeping information into payroll systems and spreadsheets with a high level of precision
• Assist with end-to-end payroll activities to help maintain timely and accurate employee payments
• Reconcile discrepancies in hours, earnings, or deductions by checking source documents and following up as needed
• Maintain organized payroll records and protect sensitive employee information in accordance with company standards
• Use Microsoft Excel to track, validate, and manage payroll-related data in a fast-paced environment
• Support payroll administration tasks and help meet weekly processing deadlines
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve payroll questions and clarify missing or inconsistent information• Previous experience in payroll support or payroll processing
• Familiarity with full-cycle payroll procedures and standard payroll practices
• Proficiency with ADP Payroll or comparable payroll software
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manage and review large amounts of data
• High-volume data entry experience with strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven setting
