Personnel Security Specialist - 89th AFKS Full-time ProSidian Seeks a Personnel Security Specialist – 89th AFKS in CONUS – Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota to support an engagement for a branch of the military that provides strategic deterrence, global strike, and combat support utilizing both manned aircraft and remotely piloted aircraft. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members provide Security Administration Support Services for the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) 89th Attack Squadron (ATKS). The purpose of this contract is to provide flying operations support to the 89th ATKS and the 200 airmen within the unit. The Personnel Security Specialist will manage all aspects of personnel security related to this contract and work directly with the Security Administration Manager and Physical Security Specialist. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Assist with security indoctrination and debriefing on an as‑needed basis. Maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrinated personnel security folders. Process Interim SCI requests as required. Process unit member’s foreign travel paperwork and JPAS updates. Create and destroy Access Control Security (ACS) Badges for all SCI indoctrinations and debriefs. Update and maintain the unit badge roster and Alarmed Facility Access Authorization (AFAA) MFR for Bldg1008. Process JPAS visit requests for unit personnel traveling to other SCI facilities. Report security incidents related to SCI items. Train unit Special Security Representatives (SSRs). Coordinate annual SCI security awareness briefings/training and maintain records. Handle Security Information File (SIF) and For Cause discharge files. Maintain the unit’s Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) SOPs and Emergency Action Procedures (EAPs). Interface with Ellsworth Air Force Base Security Offices regarding SCIF AF11‑007 and any applicable subordinate SCIFs. Dispose of SCI material in accordance with ICDs, DoD manuals, AF regulations, and ACC/SSO guidance. Assist with internal and external inspections for SCIF AF11‑007 and subordinate SCIFs. Submit annual reports to ACC/SSO. Attend in‑residence training for Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) for Personnel Security (at government’s expense). Indoctrinate unit members into special access programs (SAP), including ACCM and JWICS. Travel is allowed in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations, coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer. Location: Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Qualifications Minimum one year experience in a TS/SCI facility. Minimum one year of security experience. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe). Ability to work as part of a team.
