Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Deskside Technician II for 3+ months to provide onsite IT support in a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments, and the ability to deliver exceptional end-user support with professionalism and urgency.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and laptop support for Windows and Mac devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Support printers, scanners, mobile devices, wireless connectivity, VPN access, and other peripherals.
- Perform IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, and Change services).
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and repair IT equipment.
- Track and resolve incidents and service requests through the ticketing system.
- Perform backup, restoration, and migration of user data.
- Provide Smart Hands support for networking, server, and telecommunications equipment.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation.
- Research and resolve complex technical issues using knowledge bases and technical resources.
- Support executive users as needed.
- Assist with after-hours and on-call support when required.
- Travel to nearby client locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of deskside, desktop, or end-user support experience in a corporate environment.
- Experience supporting:
- Windows 10/11
- macOS
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Mobile devices
- Printers and peripheral devices
- AV/Video Conferencing systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Microsoft Certifications
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Experience supporting executive-level users
- Experience working in enterprise environments
