Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and communicate appropriate treatment options.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process their trauma experiences and develop coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure client care is coordinated and comprehensive.

• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies relating to trauma and aid clients in navigating critical situations.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources to support their ongoing recovery.

• Maintain thorough and confidential electronic health records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster a unified approach to client care.

• Engage with ongoing professional development, staying abreast of advancements in trauma therapy and mental health best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing targeted support to a diverse clientele shaped by various trauma experiences, including but not limited to military veterans, survivors of abuse, individuals coping with loss, and those grappling with PTSD. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably focusing on trauma-oriented therapies.

• Comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and demonstrate effective counseling techniques.

• Exceptional communication skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under stressful circumstances.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer proficiency.

Compensation and Benefits\n
