Financial Program Controls Analyst – Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) program Location US-AZ-TUCSON, 807 ~ 1151 E Hermans Rd ~ BLDG 807, Tucson, AZ Employment Type Hybrid – work both onsite at selected Raytheon locations and offsite Security Clearance U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; active clearance required after day 1 Responsibilities Operate independently and exercise sound judgment in forecasting, risk identification, and financial planning. Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis. Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimate‑at‑Completion (EAC). Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads. Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required. Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, and maintenance utilizing standard company tools and processes. Implementation and maintenance of Earned Value Management. Contribute to the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs). Establish and maintain program logs (Work Authorization, Contract Mod Log, R&O). What You Will Learn Shape financial execution strategy at the outset of a major production contract phase within a mature defense portfolio. Advanced forecasting and EAC methodologies across a complex, multi‑year production environment. Integration of technology refresh and obsolescence mitigation into established production baselines. Long‑lead material planning and funding strategy in coordination with Supply Chain and Operations. Executive‑level communication of program financial performance and risk posture. Cross‑functional influence within a matrixed organization supporting large‑scale defense production. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 3 years experience. Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution. Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to meet critical deadlines and work in a team environment to provide solutions and continuous process improvement. Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking. Advanced Excel skills including Power Query knowledge.
