Technical Support Specialist

Requirements Must have: We require an associate degree in information technology or a related discipline, or two years of college-level coursework. We require at least one year of experience in IT or technical support. We value working knowledge of Windows workstations in a domain environment, Apple macOS, iPads, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 applications. We expect strong troubleshooting ability, excellent customer service, and clear communication with non-technical users. We require commitment to our mission, Statement of Faith, and religious identity, along with a professional commitment to responsibility, diligence, and integrity. We require the ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Responsibilities: We respond to incoming level 1 and level 2 helpdesk tickets. We review, prioritize, and resolve tickets based on urgency, then follow up to confirm issues are closed. We support end users with Google Apps and Microsoft administration tasks. We troubleshoot computers, networking issues, printers, projectors, and other peripherals. We manage and support iPads, Chromebooks, and other mobile devices. We work with Windows 11 workstations in a Windows domain and Apple OS X workstations. We perform maintenance and user administration tasks for SIS and Office 365. We maintain user data and account setup within Office 365. We provide technical advice and practical solutions to school staff. We may work some evenings or variable schedules depending on departmental needs. This is a twelve-month, in-person position with a 32-hour weekly schedule and flexible daily hours, and we are open to working around school schedules and encouraging college students to apply.
